Stop guessing the portion
A scoop with a scale in the handle. It reads grams while the bowl is still in the bag, and the bowl lifts off to rinse.
The number, while you are still holding the bag
The scale lives in the handle, so the reading happens during the scoop instead of after it. Fill, glance, pour — one motion, no second bowl on the counter.
Bowl off, bowl rinsed
Twist the scoop head off and rinse it. Kibble dust, wet food, the lot. The electronics stay in the handle, which is the only reason this can be washed at all.
Nothing to set up
Battery fitted, no app, no pairing. Take it out of the box and scoop.

Questions
What does it measure in?
Grams. The LCD sits in the handle and reads the weight while the bowl is still in the bag, so there is no second step and no separate scale.
Can I wash the whole scoop?
No. Twist the bowl off and rinse it under the tap; the electronics stay in the handle, which should be wiped clean and never submerged.
Does it need charging, pairing or an app?
None of them. The battery is fitted at the factory, so it works out of the box with nothing to set up.
How big is it?
126 mm long with a 115 mm bowl, and 140 g.
