Texture is the point
Deep grids, honeycomb, and soft bumps in one mat. Each surface holds food differently, so the tongue has to work the food out instead of scooping it up.
The centre keeps giving
Fill the well, drop the ball in. As the dog licks, liquid rises past it — the mat is still rewarding after the top layer is gone.
Cats reach it too
